This proposal is for an Environmental Compliance Approval (waste disposal site) for a waste transfer and processing facility. This is a 2.78 hectare property located in the City of Toronto.
The facility will receive, sort, and transfer solid non-hazardous Construction and Demolition (C&D) waste and excess soil within the service area of Ontario. Operations will run 24 hours a day, Monday through Saturday. The site is designed for a maximum daily receipt of 299 tonnes of C&D waste, with a maximum on-site storage limit of 299 tonnes. Excess soil will be managed separately in dedicated bunkers to ensure compliance with O. Reg. 406/19 and O. Reg. 235/25.
All waste processing will occur within an enclosed "Primary Waste Processing Dome" to mitigate dust, noise, and odour. No domestic, putrescible, or hazardous waste will be accepted.
