This proposal is to amend the Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 6280-9YMK8U for The Roman Catholic Episcopal Corporation of Ottawa for the operation of a crematorium, located in the City of Ottawa, Ontario.
This application is to replace their retort. The sources at the facility include heaters, one human cremation unit, and one High Speed Cremulator.
Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include:
- particulate matter
- nitrogen oxides
- mercury
- hydrogen chloride
- chromium (hexavalent), and
- odour
