This proposal is to amend Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 8497-BWAMBU issued to YORK1 Gage Transfer Ltd. (previously known as Regional Disposal Services Inc.), a non-hazardous waste transfer/processing facility located at 375 Gage Avenue North, Hamilton, Ontario.
This amendment is for acceptance, testing, and transfer of excess soil for beneficial reuse and rock with a maximum daily incoming rate of 1,000 tonnes, and an additional outdoor storage capacity of 1,600 tonnes for soil/rock, resulting in a total storage capacity of 2,250 tonnes for waste, recyclable materials, and soil/rock at the Site and the extending the hours of operation to 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday.
Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include: suspended particulate matter.
