Description of instrument

This proposal is to amend Environmental Compliance Approval (Air & Noise) no. 7861-7QWNST for Coco Paving Inc., a hot-mix asphalt plant located in the City of Kingston, Ontario.

This proposal is to reflect the addition of one (1) asphalt cement tank. Other sources at the facility include:

  • one (1) batch dryer equipped with a dust collector,
  • two (2) storage silos,
  • three (3) asphalt cement tanks, aggregate stockpiles,
  • one (1) crusher, and
  • one (1) diesel generator.

Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include:

  • benzene,
  • benzo(a)pyrene,
  • particulate matter,
  • nitrogen oxides, and
  • noise.
