This proposal is for the renewal of the Limited Operational Flexibility for an Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 9828-89HQHP for Ventra Group Co., operating as Ventra Plastics - Peterborough, an automotive parts manufacturing facility located in City of Peterborough, County of Peterborough, Ontario.
The emission sources from the manufacturing and associated processes that exhaust to the air include:
- resin pellet drying equipped with dust collection units
- injection moulding
- parts washing and drying
- painting operations
Emissions to the air from this facility include:
- ethylbenzene
- nitrogen oxides
- 2-ethylhexyl acetate
- isobutyl acetate
- n-butyl acetate
- xylene
- hexamethylene diisocyanate homopolymer
- aromatic petroleum distillate
- ethyl beta ethoxy proprionate
- naphthalene
- 1,2,4-trimethylbenzene
The Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (air), when issued, permits modifications to the facility subject to limits on operational flexibility that include a production limit for the facility to be specified on the Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (air).
The limited operational flexibility conditions have an expiry date. The company will be required to make an application for amendment at that time to renew these conditions.
