Great job so far! It would be wonderful to see green infrastructure included like green roofs and living walls. Important for our future generations that we encourage sustainable and healthy communities.

I've got no problem with the concept. Similar to PSAB3150 Accounting, it's a starting point and within 50 years, the balance sheet will reflect correctly the value of our assets (instead of the consultants' best guesses and assumptions used in 2009).

The Council of the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville, at its recent Committee of the Whole meeting held July 4, 2017, reviewed the proposal for a regulation which would require municipalities to adopt asset management plans, as well as the content and other requirements.

We fully support the inclusion of green infrastructure in municipal asset management. This has become even more important with climate change, and the resource limitations faced by many municipalities for maintaining built assets. We support the submission by Green Infrastructure Onario

The Township of Fauquier-Strickland developed an "Asset Management Plan" (AMP) as at December 31, 2013, and has been working with the document ever since its adoption.

The Town of Newmarket is supportive of the intent of proposed municipal asset management planning regulation, that being to promote effective planning for the long term needs of infrastructure over time.

The Township of Perth East agrees with the comments forwarded by the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) on the proposed Asset Management Planning Regulation under the Infrastructure for Jobs and Prosperity Act.

As noted by AMO and supported by Perth East;

For smaller municipalities it is a tight timeline to have all core inventory analysis complete by 2020. The requirement to have an "executive lead" seems redundant as this will document will need to be approved by Council.
