I strongly object to the propose grave pit in a Source Water Protection Area. This would not protect the water, but compromise the water supply for Wilmot Township and surrounding areas. Thank you Lire davantage

I understand this region is a designated Source Water Protection area and in the face of our current climate emergency I would hope that these environmentally sensitive areas will continue to be preserved. I object to the proposed Hallman Pit. It makes no sense to have a gravel pit in a Source Water Protection Area. As we are in a climate emergency, as Wilmot Township has rightly declared, drinking water protection should be prioritized.
