Do not build this plant! It would increase pollution, it would be harmful to residents, and it would increase traffic.

My neighbors and I are completely against this proposal. The facility would be too close to homes, parks and schools. The significant increase in traffic, noise, air pollutant and odours will decrease the quality of life for people in this area.

The ERO posting omits important details.
1. One important detail missing that makes this application misleading is the fact that the facility is a biogas facility, not just a waste transfer station.

I live on Lawrence Avenue and my front lawn faces the main road. I do not want my family and myself exposed to toxins especially since we are already in a high risk position being so close to the Nuclear plant.

In no way is a facility of this size, with a massive transportational footprint through the neighbourhood appropriate for a residential setting.

This plant has no place near residential areas whereby upwards of 100 heavy trucks per day will be driving up to 6 kilometres through those areas to get to and from the 401 highway.

As a resident living within a few blocks of the proposed increased recycling activity on Coronation Drive, I oppose it as far as I understand its implications. Operation would go on round the clock throughout the year with about 200 trucks in and out carting sometimes smelly waste.

I have only recently become aware of the proposal for Coronation Organics Processing Centre at 633 Coronation Drive, Scarborough, Ont.
As a 29 year resident of this neighborhood I strongly object to this.

Wow, folks. Are you going to allow another heavily polluting company (a waste disposal site no less) on Coronation Drive? Aren't natural gas and organic fertilizer highly combustible? Doesn't really sound safe in my books... at all.

I love the idea of the Organics Processing Centre and Anaerobic Digester. However the proposed site has me quite concerned. How we ended up with Chemical Alley situated less than a quarter of a mile from our homes is beyond me and to add the Processing Centre to that section of Coronation Dr.

We are very concerned about this proposal and definitely are NOT in favour of it! This proposed facility would further contaminate an established residential community and affect our property values. Who wants to move next door to a biogas facility and major truck traffic?!

I live in Scarborough-Guildwood. I hope all that can be done to protect us and others nearby will be done. In particular, I'm thinking of measures to control pollutants that we would breathe in as well as fire/explosion control measures (I read that natural gas would be produced).

Although it is recognized that there is a growing need for an Organics Processing Centre and Anaerobic Digester project, I disagree and object to the proposal site location due to its close proximity to a growing residential neighbourhood.

Myself and my family are very concerned about this 24/7 trucking in bio waste from surrounding towns. I do not understand with all the anti pollution talk and efforts that this will increase toxic pollution in nearby neighborhoods! AND it significantly exceeds allowable limits?

This proposal is unacceptable to the community, these facilities should not be commissioned close to residential properties, this will disrupt the lives of the people living near these facilities.
Although this facility will be put on street that is considered commercial, to get in and out of that area, you need to drive through neighbourhoods where a lot of people live.
