Train and trial areas are inhumane and unethical for wildlife and completely unacceptable. They should be shut down immediately. There are other dog training options that do not pose unnecessary psychological stress to animals.

Rather than increase issuance of new licenses for train and trial facilities, I believe it would be better practice to phase-out license renewals and transfers entirely. Lire davantage

Please consider this as a request to NOT change the current Act. This is a barbaric practice and should be phased out as originally intended. We should be better than this as a society. Wildlife should not be used for sport or any kind.

"Train and trial areas are enclosed areas on private land where certain wildlife (i.e. cottontail, snowshoe hare, red fox or coyote) are kept captive..." In which case, they are no longer wildlife, but captured animals senselessly sacrificed for a useless blood sport and human entertainment. Lire davantage

It is unreal that such a thing would even be considered. I thought society was past this; moved on from barbaric practises. Anyone who practises in the "sport" of ripping helpless, wild animals apart should be phychologically assesses and put in a high risk of violent crimes database or something. Lire davantage

Have you lost your minds? How in compassionate and cruel can you be? This is the most unnecessary thing you could be doing and spending our tax dollars on. Start dealing with real problems instead of adding on more problems. More animal cruelty - shame on you all. Lire davantage

Please do not pass this amendment. It’s a barbaric practice. I’m struggling to understand how anyone could support this.

It is important to protect Ontario's wildlife. It is also important that wildlife is protected and not trapped and held only to be released to be chased down and tortured on 'training' sessions.
