The greenbelt has been protected thanks to a legislation put in place to prevent urban sprawl and protect sensitive geography by the same government looking to tear it down. I do not agree with the green belt being developed. We need to protect it and not chip away at it piece by piece. There is enough land already for housing it has just not been utilized effectively.
