Premier Ford promised not to touch the Greenbelt. I am registering my deep concerns with these amendments and the door they open to future incursion on the Greenbelt. 50,000 homes does not justify trampling over the will of the people of Ontario.

I think developing the greenbelt goes against all environmental and climate action goals the government has set out to meet. There are ways to address the housing crisis without developing this land. The ford government also needs to be investigated because of the developer and land owner ties.
