What makes you think it is OK that OMAFRA has mapped and regulated all our farms. Limiting and constraining it to only farm land. We bought the farm not OMAFRA. Take the maps off our properties as they are already showing up when real estate agents look up our properties. Lire davantage

You should not be protecting and managing farmland that does not belong to you. Prime agriculture land are farms that individuals own not the government. This is not a proposal when OMAFRA has already made these designations an official layer when you search a farm property. Lire davantage

There already is a Ontario Farmland trust where farm land is donated to stay as farmland forever. So far they have protected over 2500 acres of farmland from urban sprawl forever. Lire davantage

It is interesting that the Province has started a review of the PPS and Places to grow. I have been advocating for years that we should not have to provide Planning Justification for our development projects that are designated in Official Plans for Development. Lire davantage

My concerns/objections to PPS2023 largely is on the province superseding decision over elected music officials. The premier and provincial ministries should not also be mayors and councils for municipalities. The proposed powers to overturn municipalities planning decisions concerns me.
