Regarding the proposal for a combined sewer to support development at Ontario Place (955 Lakeshore Blvd) -- I am opposed to this proposal, going against decades of work by the city to separate and replace combined sewers across the city, to prevent the discharge of raw sewage into Lake Ontario. This is absolutely absurd and totally unacceptable. Dumping sewage into our already over polluted lake and at a place where people sail, swim and use the water for recreation is disgusting. Lire davantage

The Ontario Ford government’s plan to reroute sewage for the proposed Ontario Place spa raises serious environmental concerns, risking pollution of Lake Ontario and harm to local ecosystems. Lire davantage

Do not allow direct sewage to go to into the lake! This is terrible, why is this even an option it should be against the law and nobody should approve any movement or allow any business to continue with such rediculousness.

I’m not too sure how this is even a discussion. Please do not move the sewage simply for a private company on PUBLIC land. Therme has already taken over land that Torontonians use, and now they need to move their sewage into MORE public spaces? Lire davantage

This was a horrible decision made by the Ford Government. I am opposed the proposal, and firmly believe that the this is not want anyone wants! The province has not held any consultations about this work with the general public. Lire davantage

It’s absurd I even have to write this feedback - inserting another cso system in Toronto (a city that is sorely in need of replacing these systems and which has moved towards that goal in recent years) demonstrates an enormous lack of care for the environment, human health, and the use of these wate Lire davantage

I strongly oppose the proposal for a new Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage) for Infrastructure Ontario at 955 Lake Shore Boulevard West in Toronto. This proposal involves the construction of interim combined sewer overflows (CSOs) that would discharge stormwater into Lake Ontario. Lire davantage

Combined sewage overflows CSOs have been polluting the waterfront of toronto for decades. Swim Drink Fish can illustrate the direct correlation with e-coli and other major health hazards. We cannot let this happen on the cities attractive waterfront. Lire davantage

It is standard practice when completing waterworks projects that combined sewers are opportunistically separated. It is unclear when the combined sewer will not be separated here. Combined sewers are antiquated infrastructure and there are many solutions besides building a new one. Lire davantage

I am appalled that our government is trying to do this. It is completely disrespectful not only to the lake and environment, but also to the citizens of Ontario and Toronto. Everything about this stinks both literally and figuratively. Lire davantage
