The amalgamation must not happen - consolidating 36 conservation authorities into 6 will destroy local expertise needed to protect our watersheds and what little natural environments we have left.t Bill 5 has already gutted Ontario's formerly world class endangered species act. This is all clearly by design by the Ford administration to kill conservation authorities via starvation and sell off the conservation lands to developers.
