This is just ridiculous to have province use its power unnecessarily to force the development of TOC in Oakville. I believe the province insiders would like to see Oakville as Golden Gosse. It is unjustifiable for the town's residence who are peace loving community, once you pour in new development and people from all over the World are dumped in the community based on the money as only criteria it will be just chaotic situation like in the Toronto.
Town is not able to support its growth for the existing people and the infrastructure is not there at all. The road Cros Avenue and the Argus Road are just as narrow as when the traffic flows during rush hour it takes 30 minutes to come out of the Oakville Go to touch Trafalgar Road.
This thing should be sort out first as top priority and then you can think of development of TOC. As taxpayer for Town, our property being private community Town does not support our roads to plough, no salting in the neighbourhood toads except on Trafalgar Road, Glenashton and Upper Middle town never do salting in the inside roads, no salting at all for last 7 years.
Let Town first improve the infrastructure, services within the inside roads and then the province can think of pouring more people in the Town.
I am completely against this new TOC plan and will not support unless Town supports the infrastructure and improve services within Winter time.
