Conservation authorities should absolutely not be merged. What is best for a region in regards to conservation should be a local decision. Merging an area this large would inevitable neglect smaller conservation zones and local input. As a high school student with an interest in conservation I am appalled that the you would diminish the importance of climate change when it has been made clear that conservation is more important now than ever. Conservation is an increasingly pertinent issue. Let different areas choose how conservation looks in their area. Do not merge regional conservation authorities!
