I am concerned amalgamation could reduce local decision-making and weaken long-standing community and volunteer partnerships. These areas are too large and too diverse to expect proper effective stewardship and governance from a non-local operating team. It is yet another short-sighted ecological/environmental proposition from the Ford Government.
