The proposed boundaries for the regional consolidation of Ontario’s conservation authorities is an utterly disgraceful attempt to destroy more of the environment and make it more difficult to protect the land, people and planet. This bill must be repealed immediately. On December 17th, 2025, the GTA reached temperatures as high as 6.3 degrees Celsius, just days before the longest night, winter solstice Dec. 21st, with nearly no snow reimaging and non-freezing rainfall. This is an unacceptable poaching of environmental protection, pushed by the Ford government. REPEAL REPEAL REPEAL.
