The condominium market has collapsed. The house market is going down. For the foreseeable future, the shouting match with USA will help the liberal government (which includes Ontario government) to crush our economy. Car manufacturers are going south of the border. Once the steel mills and lumber industry dies, will be mass unemployment, especially in ON. No jobs, no money, no ability to pay mortgages. But let's build boxes on top of the boxes.
There's no need for super density unless we want to look similar to the eastern european block. There's no need to build faster, the issue isn't the inventory, it's the money laundering, corruption, uncontrollable criminality, TFW.
I won't be talking about democracy, that ship has sailed.
How can someone think that would be ok to build high-rise buildings on the same infrastructure that's already crumbling under the actual load? How about green spaces?
I would love to see people who are shoving these "projects" down our throats to live in these condos.
