I have been a resident of Oakville for the past 42 years. There is an obvious reason for that. The environment and lifestyle has, to date, been conducive to this outcome. With this totally ridiculous Proposed Project, the ambiance and life style will dramatically diminish to one of congested traffic in and about the Central Area(s). As if this was not be bad enough, property near and in downtown areas will plummet. Not to mention that the timing of such, could not be worse. Canada, as a whole, and particularly in and around central Ontario, is facing and already experiencing serious economic collapse. Other than the Developers and land owners of the Project Area, it is hard to identify anyone who will gain anything from proceeding with this Ridiculous Proposal. At a minimum, with the negative financial outlook, one seriously questions the financial success of the Developers.
