I am a concerned Citizen in Caledon. The number of pets are simply ruining the landscape, the environment, and endangering our wildlife. Also the number of cement trucks are endangering our lives! There was a fatal crash at the corner of cataracts Road and Highway 136 this summer due to a gravel truck. There was also a gravel truck that smashed into a store front and Caledon Village recently. I have two neighbors who have been in terrible accidents was gravel trucks in the last 20 years. It is scary. We have also heardRumours about blasting quarries for dolomite lime stone coming into Caledon! Carcinogenic dust, air quality and sound issues ruining our natural beautiful countryside and wildlife. It is all very upsetting to the residents but also to people who like to enjoy hiking and visiting the area.
