Based on the most recent report prepared by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change the world is headed for painful problems sooner than expected due to climate change, as emissions keep rising.

They also indicate that the cost of addressing the issue will be much less than the cost of inaction.

We need a leader and government that has a plan to address this issue for the sake of our children and grand-children. By doing nothing it is the people that mean the most to us that we will end up hurting the most.

As our government I am begging you to work with your party to form a plan to address this issue. Fighting a carbon tax as a political strategy to gain popularity is no longer acceptable and inaction on this issue is not an option.
