It is understandable that our population is growing, however some areas in Simcoe are not equipped to accommodate these changes.

In particular the zoning changes proposed at Hwy 24 and Decou Rd from residential to commercial will results in increased traffic congestion, accidents, increased pollution, and deterioration of the natural ecosystem.

Overpopulation in small areas is known to cause wildlife extinction, increased social conflicts and stress.

The current infrastructure, in particular the healthcare system (Norfolk General) is not currently equipped to manage a large influx of population, this is evident through emergency room closure notifications, and extensive wait times.
