This proposal is a waste of taxpayer dollars and the time of our public officials.

This will create unnecessary road construction further increasing gridlock exasperated by our notoriously slow construction.

Further more, bike lanes should be a municipal or city matter and not one of the provincial government.

If transportation is the focus, please invest in more options for public transportation, municipal subway systems and rapid train service as this will remove vehicles off the road and will ease traffic congestion and gridlock as a whole, long term. Adding "one more lane" has never worked historically.

Please focus on matters that have a much bigger impact on Ontarians like our massively underfunded education and heathcare systems.

More Ontarians now then ever are living paycheck to paycheck and removing bike lanes is a non issue that distracts from more important critical issues.

Please reconsider as this is a massive waste of time and money.
