I am strongly opposed to…

I am strongly opposed to this bill. The climate is the most important issue in our province and indeed in our country and our planet. What we had before was part of a good solution. By not keeping these initiatives in place you are doing three things:

1 Making our province worse and contributing more to climate change

2 Stopping the very program that helped homeowners make their houses more energy efficient and environmentally friendly
and saved them money on their energy costs ( I thought you were going to help the "little guy"??????)

3 Reduced the jobs available for tradesmen who were hired to do the work

So what you are essentially doing is making the environment worse, making energy costs expensive more for the homeowners
and slashing the number of jobs that had been created for the tradesmen. A lose, lose, lose situation as far as I can tell.

And I realize you are going to use all the tired arguments that you people use. "Oh it isn't working, we're going to consult with
our own experts, we're going to create our own plan etc. etc. "

So I say to you; add to the existing plan if you can find another useful tool in combating climate change, Do you not care about the future, do you not care about your children and grandchildren? Do you not have the moral courage to do what's right for
future generations or is all you care about is yourself and your job? Do you have to tear down what was done by the previous
government just because they were Liberals? Isn't it time that you grew up and started acting like a concerned adult citizen?
And remember 12 YEARS!!!!! THE TIME TO ACT IS NOW.
