Thank you for the opportunity to comment on ERO Posting 019-9239
The Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority (NVCA) provides the following comments.
The subject lands are not regulated under Ontario Regulation 41/24 (Prohibited Activities, Exemptions and Permits) and therefore an NVCA permit will not be required for development on the subject lands.
A portion of the property falls within a Significant Groundwater Recharge Area as per the South Georgian Bay Lake Simcoe Source Protection Plan, as shown in the green hatching on the provided map. City of Barrie staff Katie Simpson acts as the Risk Management Official (RMO) for the Township of Springwater and should be consulted on any development of the property from a source protection perspective.
