Removing bike lanes will be disastrous for the city. The induced demand, coupled with the reduction of cyclists (due to the danger of driving alongside cars) will only result in more traffic and gridlock in a city already suffering. Making Toronto more car-dependent will only make the city less accessible and less safe.
