I'm strongly against this bill. There's overwhelming data to show that bike lanes (or alternative transportation methods in general) alleviate traffic stress. The other aspects of this bill are very troubling too. None of them will improve infrastructure in this province long term and many of them will have grave environmental consequences. The contents of bill 212 tells me this government isn't taking seriously the needs and futures of Ontarians.
