This initiative is very ill advised. It is putting the lives of cyclists in grave danger and will result in many accidents and death. It is also incredibly fiscally irresponsible. Those tens of millions of dollars could be much better spent than on removing already existing infrastructure. This is an awful waste of time and money. If you want to improve traffic then why are you starting a project that will leave the city streets under construction for months? Please improve transit instead.
