I totally support the province’s actions to reduce gridlock and eliminate bike lanes in our neighbourhood as they are only marginally used by cyclists while causing a lot of congestion. This makes it difficult for emergency vehicles and has had a negative impact on neighbourhood businesses. The majority of our city councillors as well as the mayor have not been receptive to our comments and concerns. Bike lanes may work quite well in some areas but Bloor Street West in Etobicoke is not one of them. Thank you for getting involved. I don’t see it as overreach.
