As a taxpayer, I would appreciate an explanation for how approval of interim combined sewer overflows at 955 Lakeshore in Toronto will benefit Ontarians.
It seems to me that having sewage flow directly into Lake Ontario at the Ontario Place West channel - a site directly adjacent to beaches, the Islands, the airport, the marinas and of course the Therme spa - might be detrimental to water quality.
Who would this benefit?
Could it possibly be the Therme spa?
We demand answers. We do not approve.
