The internal channel is well used by boaters, swimmers and fishers. Kinga Surma’s and Doug Ford’s plan to redirect the combined sewer will make that waterway unusable for those people in addition to perpetuating the pollution of Lake Ontario. Why just relocate the sewer instead of solving the problem. This will have an impact on all these users and economic activity in the area. Already I’ve decided not to register for the Toronto Triathlon Festival here because of the plan to pollute the channel.
