I am strongly opposed to…

I am strongly opposed to this irresponsible proposal. We should be protecting the Great Lakes and doing everything to improve the water quality. To have an effluent pipe such as this is shameful and is in direct opposition to the city of Toronto’s efforts to separate combined sewers and prevent raw sewage being dumped in the lake.
This proposal will have the opposite effect of improving our waterfront for residents, tourists, and wildlife.
I notice there were no public consultations held on the proposal at all!
Please deny this permit as it is not in the public interest and without a doubt threatens the ecosystem of our lake.
