I am a resident of the Swansea neighbourhood in Toronto and a member of the Toronto Sailing and Canoe Club on the shores of Lake Ontario, where I paddle and sail as a respite from the stresses of urban life. People from all walks of life enjoy our shared waterfront.

It is bad enough that the formerly public space of Ontario Place is not available anymore due to the (corrupt) giveaway to a private company. Now we will have raw sewage rerouted behind the breakwater, affecting the water quality, wildlife, and our quality of life. This is unconscionable.

Please reconsider this plan.
