We are residents of Toronto who are very concerned by the proposal for an interim combined seeer to support development at 955 Lake Shore Blvd ( Ontario Place)
We oppose this proposal which goes against decades of work by the City Of Toronto to prevent the discharge of sewage into Lake Ontario. It also disregards international agreements to protect water quality and habitat in the Great Lakes. This effluent is a risk to human health in terms of water quality. The lack of public consultation and disregard for local human health is wrong.
This proposal to benefit private sector initiatives is not in the public interest. Please do not approve this permit.
