I am commenting on the plan to redirect and dump raw sewage into Lake Ontario before the breakwall along the western portion of Ontario Place.
The whole plan for this project has intentionally avoided all environmental impact assessments and consultation. The current Ford government has ensured they are protected from any backlash related to their decision making. This is not ok.
Our Toronto beaches are precious and should be protected for many reasons not the least of which are safe habitat for wildlife as well as clean beaches for citizens. This is our drinking water! This is our public space for recreation. How can this be legal?
