This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage) for Infrastructure Ontario. This application is for the approval of interim combined sewer overflows to be constructed at 955 Lake Shore Boulevard West, in the City of Toronto. The storm water will discharge into Lake Ontario.

I am writing to ask that the approval for this application for an interim combined sewer overflow at 955 Lakeshore Blvd, in Toronto be denied because:

- it will harm over five dozens of aquatic species, including some declared provincially endangered ones.
- the work and its costs to taxpayers is caused by the unwanted installations of a foreign commercial enterprise. The citizens object to these costs that are also depriving them of their enjoyment of the waterfront.
- the sewer overflow proposed remediation is caused by the proposed megaspa which will severely negatively impact the universally beloved CNE.
- the safe access to West Channel will be impeded because of the increased dangers of CSO breaches.

I am asking that this application be denied and that the proponents be instructed to concentrate on the long term solution to the sewage overflow in the lake.

In addition, while the following request may be outside the immediate concern of this Environmental Compliance application, the proponents be instructed to return the West Island and the whole of Ontario place to its original mandate to be of benefit to the whole of Ontario. There is no room for exclusive spas in the public realm and paid for by the public purse.
