I have serious concerns with…

I have serious concerns with the bill!!

1.This is not YOUR land!! Just because you are premier or government does not give you the right, without due process and consultation, to rape Land, Water and Air and take property!!!

2. First People have been given the right to have prior and informed consent. That is federal law.

3. Have you seen the devastation left behind by mining, gravel pits and anything that moves the Earth?? What a mess!! During the process, SO much water can be used and poisonous fluid left behind!!! The air is polluted, the plants, rocks and animals are gone. It leaves behind pollution for those whose home it actually is. Some of those rely on the Land for food and income. The companies pack up and leave devastation behind. NOT FAIR!!

4. How would you feel if your grandchildren were living there and someone came and tore up their environment?? I think, from what I have seen of your reactions to other things, you would be pissed!!!

5. Where is our food going to come from?? Food sovereignty in the North is already difficult and expensive.

6. What kind of ridiculous mess are we leaving our children, grandchildren, greet-grandchildren??

This isn't about beating Trump!! This is about creating a sustainable future for each one of us that walk, live and work in this province of Ontario, whether we are Eastern, Southern, Western or Northern.....we all deserve clean water, clean air, clean food, access to affordable and adequate housing, access to stable communities.

I think Mr Ford, you need a 500yr history lesson. Happy to speak about this at any time. This is about the WE not about the THEM. We as Ontario and part of Canada can lead by example with a good mind, good action and good intentions.
