I oppose Bill 5.

Stronger protections for wildlife are needed. Stronger protections for land development are needed. All to protect and conserve the environment.

At a time where climate pressures and environmental degradation are at an all time high, citizens, community members, and especially indigenous peoples are at a constantly increasing risk of environmental collapse that will impacts us all negatively, disproportionately impacting oppressed minorities.

This bill serves to break Canada and Ontario's commitment to conserve the environment, and protect biodiversity in our already sensitive ecosystems.
