Any law which fast tracks projects without environmental assessment or oversight should not be implemented. We have laws and regulations in place for a reason and allowing the provincial government to bypass those laws in order to let companies and corporations begin projects which could be harmful to the environment,particularly protected eco systems, is reprehensible and corrupt. Particularly this provincial government which is already under investigation for scandals involving protected land, in particular the green belt. It's also remarkably under handed and sneaky that the trum.. sorry, Ford government is only allowing until the 17th of this month to gather public opinion, and failing to announce any information pertaining to the bill, which would allow Ontarians a reasonable amount of time to express their opposition before moving forward. I oppose this bill entirely.
