I am reaching out to express my concerns regarding Bill 5, which I understand is being positioned as a way to "protect Ontario by unleashing our economy." While I appreciate the need for economic growth, I am deeply troubled by the potential consequences this bill may have on endangered species, wildlife, and the rights of First Nations communities, particularly their ability to participate in meaningful consultations on projects that directly affect their land.

I believe it is crucial to find a balance between economic development and environmental stewardship, as well as respecting the rights of Indigenous communities.
