I have concerns with the removal of the need for an environmental study. This location is within very close proximity to Dresden, a residential community. The residents of Dresden deserve to know that any significant changes to their environment are safe or be advised of all any any risks to their health or wellbeing.
I also have concerns with the truck traffic that would come with this waste landfill project. The town cannot handle hundreds of trucks passing through or around each day. This is a safety and health hazard to the residents of Dresden.
I feel this type of landfill project should be planned for an existing industrial area where there are no nearby residential communities in existence.
