The proposed bill takes away the taxpayers right to comment and provide input on the future of this beautiful piece of land, it also negates vital environmental safeguards. We have few areas of green space left close to our waterfront and allowing the unfettered development of it would be shameful for any government to do, not just for this generation but for future ones as well.
