Dear Premier Ford,

I vehemently oppose Bill 5 and establishing Special Economic Zones which puts power in the hands of a very small group of unaccountable people and leaves citizens in those areas without any rights.

You may remember from middle school that the Upper Canada Rebellion was a response to this exact situation. The "Family Compact" refers to a group of influential men in Upper Canada who dominated the political, economic, and social life from the early to mid-1800s. They were a primarily conservative known for their opposition to democratic reform and responsible government.

That pretty much sums it up, doesn't it? Except, we have rights and you and your government will have a difficult time taking them away.
