It is a deliberate shift in governance priorities away from sustainability, accountability, and equity—toward political expediency and private profit. Years of research and development of policy that protects rights will be undermined. This does not benefit the people of Ontario or the animal and plant species. We are interconnected. Our health and well-being is dependent on the protections that have been put into place to ver many years, not on monetary wealth.
