I oppose this Act and its enabling of the Ford administration to skip established procedures. No project should be above rules, Acts, Regulations, Instruments (such as municipal by-laws) or conditions. Public participation and stewardship of the land should not be considered roadblocks; these are essential to our democratic processes and helps ensure that our government remains accountable.
