Almost the whole bill outlines how regulatory checks and balances can be bypassed by simply designating areas of economic interest. It doesn’t get more undemocratic than removing protections on public and indigenous resources to benefit the few who can afford to invest, develop, etc. I was under the impression Ford’s PCs distanced themselves from the Trump administration, yet they seem to be taking notes instead.
