I oppose this exemption!

We know that mining is one of the most environmentally destructive activities undertaken by humans. We know that there will be immense ecological and environmental damages incurred by the proposed mine. We also know that there will be immense servicing costs imposed on the public to provide roads and other infrastructure required for this proposal. And we know that it will not be paid for by the profit from this mine.

Therefore it is unbelievable that the government is proposing to eliminate all its own rules for the benefit of the proponents of this mine. This can only be explained by corruption of the government.
