I strongly disapprove with the proposed actions written into Bill 5. This bill will erase the opportunity to grow Canadian economic prosperity that respects research, consultation and a considerate process.

The loose definition of "special economic zones" "trusted proponent" and "designed project" to be decided later by Cabinet is unprofessional and reckless to write into law. It will be abused by corporations that disregard the protection of habitat and ecosystem integrity.

As a Canadian citizen I do not want the Endangered Species Act to be repealed. Replacing it with the Species Conservation Act does not have adequate protection for the fabric of plants and wildlife that keep our ecosystems healthy. It will do the opposite.
