I would like to register my strongest opposition to the proposal and the proposed development.
I have purchased a unit in the senior residence block at the same site currently under construction by MonSheong Foundation. The 38 storey proposal will certainly adversely affect our living conditions and the environment. It will also be out of tune with the heights of buildings in the vicinity. There is also a fairness of information issue because we did not have the knowledge of the current proposal when we committed to the purchase. Only some purchasers were verbally told there might be a second phase.
The current Monsheong is still showing a low rise building at the proposed 38 storey location. This is link to the Monshoeong website:

Please kindly consider our positions as senior residents purchasing the Monsheong property for our retirement life, yet this unexpected proposal will impact our quality of life significantly. I urge that you can help to stop this inconsiderate proposal from becoming a nightmare for many seniors’ lives. Thank you!
